THESE are far scarier"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently on social media, there\u2019s been an uptick in the uproar about Washoe County School District\u2019s policy on head lice. WCSD, like many other school districts, is following the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aap.org\/en-us\/about-the-aap\/aap-press-room\/Pages\/AAP-Updates-Treatments-for-Head-Lice.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/schoolnursenet.nasn.org\/blogs\/nasn-profile\/2017\/03\/13\/head-lice-management-in-the-school-setting\" target=\"_blank\">National Association of School Nurses\u00a0<\/a>who recommend that children who have head lice be allowed to attend school.
