Silver Sage Sports and Fitness Lab (SSSFL) provides a range services- physiologic testing including resting metabolic, Vo2 max/metabolic efficiency and lactate threshold; individual coaching and training programs focused on health and wellness, endurance, and sport specific performance conditioning; injury prevention and return to sport/running programs; as well as biomechanically-focused gait/run analysis and bike fitting.
These days, there are coaching programs and training plans all over the internet. Sometimes they work, but many times they don’t. At Silver Sage Sports Sports & Fitness Lab, we don’t just plug you into the same generic training plan as everybody else. We want to get to know you as a person and as an athlete. Because we measure your specific physiologic parameters and know your specific goals, we can give you much more accurate recommendations of how to achieve those goals. Also, because we are staffed by board certified family physicians, we can also take into account any medical problems you may have when structuring these programs. With all of our services, you will receive your own customized report of your performance using our proprietary software.

Do you want to optimize your training program? In-lab testing will provide science-based training zones, a training-effectiveness, tracking mechanism and help you understand your athletic strengths. Based on your physiological testing results and our elite international athletic experience, we will develop an efficient, effective training plan to improve your performance. Once you have baseline testing, follow up testing can help to track your improvement and ensure you are peaking for your big event.
