Silver Sage Sports & Fitness Lab has new leadership and a new location, inside Fizio at 400 Mill Street. All Silver Sage Sports & Fitness Lab services, including performance and fitness testing, bike fit and gait analysis, are available at the new location. Silver Sage Center for Family Medicine remains at 10467 Double R. Blvd.
“At Fizio, we’re surrounded by active people looking to get the most out of their training and our services support those efforts,” said Medical Director Andrew Pasternak, MD, MS. “This is a great move for our clients— both the athletes looking to enhance performance and anybody interested in improving their overall health and wellness.”
Michelle Faurot has been promoted to the position of director of the Silver Sage Sports & Fitness Lab, and is in charge of all performance and fitness testing services. She is a certified USA Triathlon and U.S. Masters Swimming coach and record holder in the Race Across America (RAAM) for an all-women’s team.
The Sports & Fitness Center’s new bike fit technician is Jonnie Diederich, who holds bicycle fitting certifications from Serotta International Cycling Institute, Specialized Body Geometry and Trek Fit Services. He is proficient at analyzing movement imbalance, and holds both a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certification, and a Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA – Level 2) certification.
Gait analysis is provided by Fizio owner Lauren Evans, an ACE Personal Trainer, USA Track & Field Level 2 coach (working toward Level 3), and a USA Cycling Level 3 coach.
